Soloist Lim Chang Jung was a guest on the September 13 airing of 'Park Kyung Lim's 2 O'Clock Date,' recalling his past popularity.

When the DJ remarked, "You won first place back in 1997 when H.O.T and Sechskies were battling for the first spot," the singer replied, "Yes I did. I took first place with 'Again,' and at the time the two groups were in their heyday. It was crazy."

Lim Chang Jung then joked, "I think that I may not have been able to win first place if H.O.T and Sechskies weren't at war. Their fans were hilarious. I think they reasoned, 'As long as the other group doesn't win, it's okay if this random guy wins.'"

Park Kyung Lim asked, "Which currently active artists' popularities are similar in scope to those two groups? Hwang Chi Yeol? EXO?" Lim Chang Jung replied incredulously, "What nonsense is that? I waited so long to release an album because I was avoiding EXO."

Welll, he's certainly modest, don't think he has to worry about anyone at this point, he's way too much established. Seeing the amount of streaming, he could have relased it it whenever he wanted and he probably would have had an all-kill. And he sounds like he's pretty funny from this actually. ^^
