On August 23, KeyEast stated, "The accuser's sexual assault allegations are false. Uhm Tae Woong will dutifully participate in investigations should the police request his presence."

More details surrounding the alleged sexual assault and the alleged victim have also been revealed. Accuser A, a woman in her 30s, claims to have been assaulted by Uhm Tae Woong back in January after he came in for a massage alone. She reportedly told police, "Our establishment is not a massage parlor that participates in prostitution, but I was assaulted by a male celebrity."

It's further been reported A is currently under arrest for fraud in another case. She's said to have been under court custody since July 12, which is 3 days before she made her claims against Uhm Tae Woong.

Police have stated, "We haven't even questioned the accuser yet, and we don't know the exact circumstances. We cannot let you know whether A is currently under arrest as it has nothing to do with this case."

Stay tuned for updates.

I've got enough of these "sexual assaults". If a man touch your breast by mistake is sexual assault? How can you prove a sexual assault if no physical marks or sperm or CCTV/voice recorder are present? How can you prove your innocence if some girl/woman begins to scream that you are assaulting her only because you are beside her? You'll tell me that the police/judge can establish that but till the final resolution your image is tarnished and, as a celebrity, you can lose a lot of money. I still think that all that complaints have something fishy behind them. And for the "new suffragettes" - I don't think if a man tell you that you're attractive that's sexual assault - it can be just a compliment.

rape/assault cases are the least likely to convict, even WITH evidence and the evidence that is obtained with rape cases is usually thrown out. And i haven't seen anyone say that being complimented is sexual assault what i have seen people say is that because rape cases almost never get convictions and when they do they're either thrown out or overturned accusations should be taken seriously. You're more likely to face jail time for crossing the street when the sign is red than you are for being arrested and charged with rape. And that's all over the world i think the thing is rape accusations have such a heavy stigma of "well she lied, she's being sensitive, it was consent, etc" when only i think it's 3% of rape cases are false accusations so that means 97% of accusations are real. And out of those less than 1/3rd will be convicted and out of that even less will serve jail time. So let's put it this way. 1 out of every 5 women you know have been raped and that's IF they go to the police because alot of women don't so i think they said the number is more like 1 in 3 women have been assaulted. So in my immediate family there's me my mom and my sister so one of us has been sexually assaulted or raped. When in actuality two of us have been assaulted one of us reported and the other did and when i reported i was turned away by police saying it was "he said she said" so when cases like this DO get released it's easy to say "oh she's lying" because the belief that rape victims are lying is VERY prevalent. But statistcally that's a lie it's not true majority of rape and assault cases involving ANY one male or female have about a 97% chance of being true. There's also holding male idols to a different standard but that's another conversation like idk if this guy is innocent but i don't think we should go around automatically assuming either are innocent or guilty.
