Or, not so pretty, if I may be so blunt. Just because the dress is pink, that doesn't automatically make it pretty! This shapeless piece is not very flattering on the wearers, namely Suzy, Kim Ji Won, IU, and Lee Sung Kyung. Suzy was seen in the dress at a press preview for 'Train to Busan' which was held earlier this month, Kim Ji Won wore the dress for 'Sure' pictorial, IU for a 'Cosmopolitan' pictorial, and Lee Sung Kyung wore it in an issue of 'Grazia.'
Lee Sung Kyung went vogue vintage with the dress, accessorizing the piece with large frames, dark red lipstick, mid-calf, white tube socks, and navy blue vans. Suzy, on the other hand, kept accessories to a bare minimum, going for feminine and flirty by pairing the dress with strappy red high heels. Kim Ji Won threw a silvery, patterned jacket on top to mix things up, and IU added a pair of classy, pearl earrings. All four stars kept their hair down, a styling that is simple yet elegant.
Though I do adore all four gorgeous ladies, I gotta say...that dress just don't do their beauty justice. Because of its loose fitting, it falls like a shapeless drape on their bodies, failing to accentuate their figures in a flattering way. For Lee Sung Kyung in particular, because she is so thin, she looks very...straight up and down. Yes, that is the preferred look among models and in high fashion, but that doesn't necessarily mean the look is flattering. It's also hard to tell exactly how IU and Kim Ji Won styled the dress as they are both in a folded position on their backs. Though I have to admit that both IU and Kim Ji Won's makeup is on point, so props to the makeup artists for an immaculate, impeccable job well done!
