Lyrics from Topp Dogg Jenissi's new song is stirring up controversy.

The track titled "Back 2 the Sun", of his first solo album 'True to be Honest' tells the story of his teenage years. Jenissi raps about his puberty days, mentioning his past girlfriend, poor grades, love for rap, and more. One particular part, about Jenissi admitting that he's smoked since he was in middle school, is becoming an issue.

The controversial lyrics state, "In 8th grade I felt lonely for the first time. In my memory there wasn't anyone home when I got back from school. So then I ate ramen with my friends, smoked cigarettes at the basketball court in front of my house, and played around rapping."

Netizens, shocked by his confession, commented, "He just admitted his illegal actions", "Heol...", "Smoking underage is illegal", "Why is he confidently admitting that?", and more.

Was Jenissi a bit too true and honest?

That's because he's a grown up man now. At least he knows to admit his actions. K-NETZ i don't like the fact that you're making this an issue..
