On the June 8th airing of 'Choi Hwa Jung's Power Time', EXID's Hani talked about the past controversy regarding her tears on 'Baek Jong Won's Top 3 Chef'.

Hani said, "There were croquettes, and the taste reminded me of the past. But I don't think a lot of people were able to relate to my feelings and felt very uncomfortable. It's all because I lack professionalism. I will work harder from now on. I apologize."

The EXID member was previously criticized 'crying too much' on shows. Do you think she was being inappropriate?

I prefer celebrities to be themselves while on variety shows rather than just following the script.

when i realized that crying on screen and expressing one's emotions to the public can cause criticism to occur, i lost hope in humanity

Since when crying is an issue ,  Korean netizen just wanna hate it all . --------The point of all of this is jealousy . ------------They need to prove that Hani is not perfect . That they (haters) are not squids . Lol

IDK, I don't think it's "inappropriate" to have an emotional reaction to things. I have a friend who cries whenever she's angry. I have a tendency to laugh to the point of tears. It's just a reaction. Making a big fuss about it is weirder than Hani's initial reaction, tbh.

Tbh if I always cried at work people would be pretty salty about me too. We all lose it sometimes but to do it all the time is unprofessional, you don't see a cashier at Walmart crying every time someone makes a slightly rude comment or a joke, or when the cookie aisle reminds them of their grandma or some shit. If they did, their manager would probably send them home and suggest professional help. Yes, we're all sensitive and we all have our weak moments, at home or with our friends and family. Not at work.

haha, I know cashiers are human, because I work as one. Some days I work 13 hours, I deal with rude customers on a daily basis and I hold myself together at least until I get home. I'm there to do my job and get paid, sure I have bad days, but not every day. Lots of male idols have been criticized to no end for being rude on broadcast, there's no sexism here. She was being unprofessional and there's no excuse.

Not everyone is as strong as you are. And she does not cry "all the time."

You know I kinda understand when she cried... I'm guessing "thinking about the past" was her trainee and unpopular days or even as she got popular when they made her diet and tbvh living as a trainee, dieting, not sure if you're going to debut, being unpopular, barely making enough to eat and then suddenly you realize that you're on a show with many people watching and adoring you and food is going into your mouth... I kinda understand that in that moment it could remind her of the past and make her tear up like they're only human. If you can't even understand that really humane flaw then i have nothing to say but that you're a born hater just waiting to dump malice on her out of 1 jealousy or 2 jealousy
