Remember the exciting news that Big Bang were planning a surprise guerrilla concert?

Unfortunately for Big Bang fans, especially Big Bang fans in Korea, the guerrilla concert was canceled for various reasons. Through an official press release, YG informed the public on May 23, "Big Bang's guerrilla has ultimately been canceled."

The group has been diligently preparing a guerrilla concert in celebration of their ten-year anniversary. However, when news got out about their secret concert and media outlets reported on it, YG decided to cancel the show as the surprise element is now gone and to prevent any accidents from occurring.

Do not fret too much because YG's got something else under way! The label related, "We want to let everyone know that we're in the process of developing ideas so that fans can safely enjoy [Big Bang's] ten-year anniversary."

I think they will re-plan it  for later in the year, it can't happen if it isn't a surprise, tbh I was expecting this

Well what do you expect.. guerilla concert is all about surprise, and when you lost that surprise element, you lost that purpose to hold a guerilla concert. Tough luck, Big Bang. Oh well, on the other hand, you kinda don't need a guerilla concert, cuz its not like you're a new group or older group making a comeback after a long break like Sechs Kies where you need to establish some sort of fan base. They can just do their usual tours and I'm pretty sure VIPs will be buying the tickets as usual.

The thing here is this was suppose to be a gift concert (Free) to K-VIPs. There's always VIPs who are not so good at getting ticket online as they sold out so quick.

There's an old Kvip who didn't have the chance to attend a bigbang concert , sheonly could go to an old YG concert back in the days

And what are the chances for them to actually get seats in this free concert if they can't even get the tickets (which are not free)? Look, I'm all for free concerts (I had my days when I wish KMF is free -_-) but with the amount of fans Big Bang have, that's just accidents waiting to happen. VIP is not a small fanbase. If the tickets can be sold out that fast, imagine what kind of chaos it will be when all these people try to get in the venue that is way too small to fit all of them.

I'm afraid to imagine what's gonna happen to her should the concert actually came true.. imagine the chaos this old VIP has to go through to even get a seat for herself. There is always safety risk involved in this type of event, especially when dealing with super large crowd. Now you know why groups with large fanbase don't do guerilla concerts.

Understandable though.. some people might go out of their way to find out where the location is beforehand and then might spread it around.
