The entertainment world has been in an uproar lately with the surfacing and expos� of the seedy prostitution business, and many people are conjecturing which female stars could be involved.
Just yesterday, Korean media outlet 'The Fact' captured pictures of a female celebrity they referred to as 'C' discreetly trying to enter the Supreme Prosecutors' Office of the Republic of Korea.�
This female star is speculated to be quite a famous singer that everyone knows; however, that is not the most shocking part of the whole story. Besides this singer, there are possibly many more female celebrities involved in the business of selling their bodies, one of them being another popular singer referred to as 'L' by the Korean media.
Allegedly, 'L' is now an actress who originally started out as a member of a popular girl group.�
The actress was seen going into the Supreme Prosecutors' Office on March 16 around 1:19 p.m. (KST). Unlike the other female star, who had attempted to hide her identity by dressing in all black, this actress had nothing to hide. In fact, the actress was seen strolling quite casually into the building, even sipping a beverage as she did so. The man who was accompanying her did not appear to be her lawyer.�Netizens were especially surprised at the way 'L' showed up as she seemed confident with a drink in hand and no mask on her face in broad daylight. Many are drawing comparisons to female celebrity C, who showed up to questioning in a wide hat, black mask, and all-black outfit in the evening.
'L' was much loved by the public with her girly, refreshing image when she made her debut in a girl group. Then she moved onto her acting career, earning various leading and supporting roles in dramas. She was said to be very active until around three years ago.�
There are also updates concerning singer C, whose former agency spoke up about the accusations. A rep stated, "We heard she was under suspicion after getting calls from reporters. C has no reason to be involved in prostitution, and we're not sure why she's suspected." The rep further stated that C earned quite a bit of money while she was with the company, and she had no known financial difficulties. Her mother is also said to be strict, not allowing her to leave home at night. The rep also cited C's health issues, which prevented her from appearing on TV shows.
The prosecution suspects that there could be two other female aspiring stars who are involved in the prostitution business besides 'C' and 'L.' Now the media is waiting to see how this whole debacle will play out and whether the identities of these female stars will ever be confirmed.
