EXO has been promoting 'Star Wars' in Korea and Luhan has been promoting the same film franchise in China. Disney definitely chose the right promotional ambassadors, because both EXO and Luhan have been getting people all across Asia interested in the upcoming movie.

Not only that, but Luhan and EXO's promotional material for 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' has been getting attention from international news outlets, particular American news.

The Chinese trailer with Luhan's intro in the beginning has gotten attention for showing scenes of the movie that hasn't been shown anywhere else before. 

News sites like the Wall Street Journal, Fortune and Venture Capitalist Post are interested in how China doesn't know much about the old 'Star Wars' series, hence needing a popular figure like Luhan to promote it. The Venture, on the other hand, is impressed with EXO's "Lightsaber" MV.
