'Seoul University hip-hopper' Beenzino was the esteemed guest on the September 21 edition of JTBC's 'Abnormal Summit'! On this particular installment, the rapper freely discussed he and his parents' conflicting views on higher education, his love for art, and even showed off his German-speaking skills.�

During the time when Beenzino was preparing to enter university, he confessed that he and his parents butted heads due to their conflicting views on the necessity of a college education. He said, "Because [Korean society] puts so much emphasis on the importance of a college education, I received a lot of stress from putting off going to university. When I told my parents I didn't want to go to college, I was slapped by my father. So I resolved that I will go to college and drop out once I get in to pursue music." Now the only stress Beenzino likely gets is having too much money and not knowing what to do with it all!�

The rapper, who was accepted into the prestigious Seoul University's art school, explained how he came to select his major, saying, "In high school, I chose sculpture because my friend recommended it." Yoo Se Yoon joked, "So you followed your friend? I should have followed my friend, too when he said that we should go to Seoul U. Too bad I didn't trust him."�

Beenzino also impressed the MC panel and the regulars with his German, which he learned through his girlfriend and his German friends. He confessed, "I like to try to copy a foreign language [when I hear it] instead of trying to speak it well." However, the rapper couldn't follow along when Daniel, who hails from Germany, tried to have him speak a short sentence in his mother tongue.�
