Uhm Jung Hwa�talked about being a female singer as well as her fellow hoobae�Lee Hyori on the August 5th broadcast of MBC FM4U's 'Two O'Clock Park Kyung Lim'.�
Uhm Jung Hwa revealed that Lee Hyori leans on her when she's going through a rough time, explaining, "When I was promoting, I didn't have anyone to lean on either. As a female singer and actress, it was a little hard at the time." She added, "I wanted to work harder as a female singer, but because of things like age, you have to worry whether things will end even if you don't want it to."
The veteran singer continued, "When I passed the age of 30, a lot of people told me that I should be singing ballads. I want to be someone my hoobaes can talk to."
