Alarmingly, it appears celebrity Hong Suk Chun had been near the site of the horrific explosion in Bangkok.
At around midnight, he posted on Instagram, "I suddenly heard a huge explosion. I thought it had been the sound of thunder. �Shortly thereafter, I heard an ambulance siren and saw cars weren't moving, and knew something had happened.
"There was a bombing incident right next to the Siam Paragon, where I am. �People say that already a lot of people have died and gotten hurt. �People are being told that a bomb had exploded. �It was a place I had passed just an hour ago... I pray that many people would no longer be sacrificed for no reason."
At 6:30 PM, a bomb had exploded in a shrine in Bangkok, killing a total of sixteen people and injuring dozens of others. �Many Korean celebrities quickly took to SNS, as well, to express their condolences and relay strength to Bangkok. �In response to Hong Suk Chun's post, many alarmed fans expressed their relief that he was not injured.
