The reason for the actor's abrupt leave was detailed by a representative from 'House Cook Mater Baek,' who said that because Son Ho Joon's new SBS drama 'Mrs. Cop' will be overlapping with the time slot of 'House Cook Master Baek,' he ultimately decided to drop out of the show.�

Furthermore, Son Ho Joon's agency MBK Entertainment told Newsen via phone earlier today, "Son Ho Joon had finished filming his last episode for 'House Cook Master Baek.' He chose leave the show because 'Mrs. Cop' and 'House Cook Master Baek's airing times overlapped. The last episode filming wrapped up successfully with no hard feelings. Right now he plans to continue his focus on 'Mrs. Cop.'"

Son Ho Joon had carefully arrived at his decision after the controversy several months back that brewed due to the actor appearing simultaneously on 'Three Meals a Day,' and 'Laws of the Jungle'. When someone appears on two competing shows during the same time slot, it not only split up viewers who wanted to see the actor between the shows and affect ratings, it is also frowned upon by those in the broadcast field.The actor didn't want the same sort of issue rising again even though 'Mrs. Cop' and 'House Cook Master Baek' aren't even the same genre or shows

Producer Goh Min Goo, who is in charge of the casting for 'House Cook Master Baek,' stated, "We wanted to keep on filming with Son Ho Joon but he left because he had to work on his drama. It' really regrettable. I think Kim Gu Ra, Yoon Sang, and Park Jung Cheol made a good team with him. In the end, we had to respect the cast member's decision."

Goh Min Goo also mentioned Baro, who will be replacing Son Ho Joon once he leaves for good, expressing his anticipation about the new addition to the show. He said, "Because he is the youngest and a new addition, our expectations are high. I think he will show us a fresh side and make things more fun."�

He continued, "Honestly, for a cooking variety show I think it's important to keep the member formation consistent. Instead of guests, I think it's better to build stability with the addition of Baro. It's interesting showing the transformation of the members [over time]."�

Son Ho Joon's last appearance on the show will broadcast this coming 28th, and Baro will officially take his place in the episodes which will broadcast from the beginning of August.�
