Apparently�Hwang Jung Eum�thinks she looks ugly when she's crying.
In an interview she had on 'Entertainment Relay', she said, "The reason why I worked so hard was because people said, 'Hwang Jung Eum was an idol, so let's see how she acts', so I thought to myself, 'I have to work harder because I was a singer'."
On being called the queen of tears, she smiled and said, "I like it a lot," but when she was asked, "Is it okay if we just watch your crying scenes?", she answered, "But I look like a monster... The director said, 'Jung Eum, let's shoot that again'. But why do you need to care about the face when the emotion is so good? I didn't look good, but I think the emotion was great."
