Though Jiyoung is no longer a member of�KARA, she has been keeping herself busy as an actress in Japan!

On March 19, Jiyoung�interviewed with Japan's Oricon Style�and discussed her role as a sexy school teacher in the upcoming Japanese movie 'Assassination Classroom'. The idol-turned-actress had�to wear a blonde wig and miniskirts to take on a sexy look for her role.�She said, "To be honest, I'm still not good at acting sexy. However, I did a lot of research. I slightly lowered my stance and my voice. It's a different feel than my usual self."�

She also talked about the transition from an idol to an actress, "Singers work a lot during the night, but actors wake up at 5am, so it's hard. I set my alarm for every two minutes. I haven't been late yet, and I'm slowly getting used to it. I don't feel much of a difference between Korea and Japan. I took on the role of a teacher, and it brought me back to my times as a middle school student." She added she wanted�"to try a variety of roles in movies. I want to play a sophisticated woman or be in an action film."
