MY LOVELY GIRL - EPISODE 10
RECAP
Hyun Wook fights with Hae Yoon about Se Na�and runs off. He finds her and informs her that there's no reason to associate with each other anymore since she no longer works at ANA. Tears well in his eyes as he leaves. Later, Hae Yoon asks him, "Why Se Na?" Both Se Na and Hyun Wook deal with the destruction of their relationship in different ways -- Se Na chooses to drink and forget, Hyun Wook buries himself in his work. Hyun Wook stops by the hospital and deletes Se Na's number from Shi Woo's phone. Hyun Wook's father talks with Hae Yoon about the status of the company and Hyun Wook. He leaves, not wishing to fight with his son. Hee Seon calls up Tae Min, and they make plans to re-invigorate the company, sans Hyun Wook or his father.
Jae Young gets an idea of what to do with his intel
Hae Yoon and Hyun Wook spend more time together, and Hae Yoon is determined to win Hyun Wook's heart. Shi Woo teams up with Se Na, creating second chances for both of them, and ANA rehires her for a week. That evening, Hae Yoon comes over with presents and food to wish Hyun Wook a happy birthday. Se Na comes over and demands answers, asking him if he had just been playing with her. He gets upset, tells Hae Yoon he still loves Se Na, and Hae Yoon leaves in a huff. He confides in his best friend, who just arrived to help celebrate, that he believes he's going crazy.� Meanwhile, Hae Yoon is self-medicating in a bar and drunkenly tells Jae Young that Se Na is So Eun's sister. Hyun Wook runs after Se Na�and gives her his declaration of love...
The 'don't go' wrist grab
MY TAKE
So now Jae Young knows about Se Na and So Eun. You could practically hear the gears turning in his head, and a ghost of smile played across his face. Sheesh. This guy never quits. Any tidbit of information he has, he uses it to hurt Hyun Wook. I would think that ordinarily you'd be too busy as a CEO to do anything else, but then we wouldn't have a villain, would we?
Hee Seon and Tae Min plotting a takeover
Like so many shows before it, this show likes to play the "will they/won't they" game. Will they kiss? Will they hold hands? Will they end up together? This episode is a prime example. Hyun Wook doesn't want to break up with her, but he has to. But surprise! He stops caring about appearances and just goes for it. If they keep breaking up and getting back together, that's going to make it hard to celebrate 22 days together, 1 month together, 100 days together...
Se Na drunkenly passes out
Krystal seems to cry a lot in this episode. I think she needs a different facial expression, though. By contrast, Kim Jin Woo (Jae Young) has a very expressive face, the kind that lets you know exactly what he's thinking, and he uses it to great effect. Maybe if she pushes her lower lip up, she could use that as a frown. �
Hyun Wook erases Se Na's number from Shi Woo's phone
This was one of the slower ones. It felt almost more like an interlude than a full episode. But...I'd really like to know what Jae Young is going to do with his information. I'm guessing he'll go to Se Na, who I don't think will be terribly receptive to him. Shi Woo seems to be making a play for Se Na, but I think he's been friendzoned. What do you guys think?
