During a recent interview, Kim Yoo Jung brought up fellow child actress Kim So Hyun and talked about constant comparisons between the two. Not only are they both beautiful young women, but they are also considered veteran child actresses with a lot of experience and recognition from starring in hit dramas.

She said, "I am close to Kim So Hyun because we did a lot of productions together and acted together since we were young. I saw articles comparing us, and I did not mind it. However, I didn't like it, either. While comparisons can be a stimulant and a change for development, if the comparing is too severe, the two parties can get hurt or it can create misunderstandings. That was not really to my fancy."

However, Kim Yoo Jung revealed she still did not deem the comparisons in too negative a light as they meant there was a lot of interest and love from the people. She also mentioned she believed that the two were consistently compared because they had very different charms.

She said, "Our acting is different, our productions are different, our characters are real opposites. Our faces also look very different. The only thing that's the same is our age. I think that if our images were the same, we would not be compared. People must look at us a lot and compare because we are different."
