In an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine, the members said, "We were intending for this album to be a way to comfort people through music. We put our focus on what kind of message we want to send and what emotions we want to touch on."

They continued, "With the thought of comforting through music, we tried to relay songs of dreams, love, hope, and consolation to people," adding, "Though we ourselves can't meet as g.o.d often, the group is like a hometown that gives peace when we're there, makes us very comfortable and happy, and brings up fond memories."

Chapter 8 is such a great album.

And it's so great to see Son Hoyoung smile again. I wish he'd be part of the Dream Team II family again. ♥
