Girls' Generation's YoonA�turns 25 (24 in international age) on May 30, and fans celebrated her birthday by raising funds to plant a forest in her name!

According to Tree Planet, a 'YoonA Forest' will be planted near DMC (Digital Media City) in Sangamdong, Mapogu, Seoul, which was made possible by a month-long fundraiser. YoonA's fans from across 18 countries raised over 10 million KRW (~9,800 USD) beginning in March.

Fans stated, "In honor of YoonA's birthday, we wanted to prepare a meaningful gift for YoonA. We hope that the 'YoonA Forest' will be enjoyed by YoonA and Girls' Generation's fans as well as a lot of people who can comfortably rest there. The broadcast station is located across from the forest, so it would be nice for international fans to go there."
