Shin Sung Rok, who fans remember as the villain on 'You Who Came From the Stars', opened up about his growing popularity, similarities to his evil character, and his emoticon-like expressions!

During the 'OX' talk game on the March 8th broadcast of KBS 2TV's 'Entertainment Relay', in response to the statement, "Villain Lee Jae Kyung and and Shin Sung Rok have similarities", Shin Sung Rok raised an 'O' (meaning yes) much to the reporter's surprise. The actor assured fans that he didn't mean that he's evil in real life as he explained, "Not the mindset but our expressions [are alike]." When asked, "When you're angry or frustrated, what do you do?" Shin Sung Rok shared, "I open my eyes like a character", and demonstrated how he gets angry with his expressions that have been receiving attention for looking like KakaoTalk emoticons.

Although many fans first heard of him on 'You Who Came From the Stars, Shin Sung Rok recently celebrated his ten-year anniversary since his debut and shared his humble attitude, "I worked hard. But I still have a long way to go. Whenever I hit a wall., I say this to myself. You didn't have talent from the beginning. You have to make it starting now."
