4minute's "Come In" from their upcoming 5th mini album '4minute World' has been deemed as unsuitable for broadcast.

"Come In" is a duet song by HyunA and Gayoon, and expresses a woman's straightforward feelings toward a man. Its said the songs was deemed too provocative for broadcast due to its sensual lyrics by SBS, while MBC has given it the okay sign.

A Cube Entertainment rep told Star News on the 14th, "We took into consideration each part of the new title track and follow-up tracks but the SBS broadcast judging panel deemed 'Come In' as unsuitable for broadcast."

"We think it's because the lyrics were mature... In the agency's perspective, we think it is a metaphorical expression but everyone thinks differently... We received the approval from MBC and we are currently waiting for KBS' decision."

According to the flow of K-pop these days, we didn't think 'Come In' wasn't crossing the line so much, so we took that into consideration... We will not make any adjustments," revealing that they have no intention to change any of the song.

4minute will make their comeback with their 5th mini album '4minute World' on the 17th!

I'm not even a fan but that's SOOOOOOOO OLD SBS. It's like banning Sunmi's "Twerking" (witch wasn't) while groups like Girl's day or AOA have been cleaning the floor with their bodies for more than a MONTH. Not hating but's that's the truth. ;

Hope this comeback they put more attention to the main singers, not just HyunA. I used to like them more before.

@ithadtobeyou said --> "Groups like Girl's Day or AOA have been cleaning the floor with their bodies for more than a MONTH." <-- I had *no idea* that Girl's Day and AOA did floors! ... Rather like K-pop does the 'Rumba Roomba!' (LOL)

You guys are such hypocrites, when all the girl group does sexy come back or have provocative songs, people are like "I didn't come to kpop for this!" But now, you're saying that kpop shouldn't be so ;conservatives. ;

Korea is so full of shit in these type of situations. They are calling it "inappropriate", because it's about women making the decisions and being sexual of her own volition and not because a man said it's okay.

This is cool. I get not broadcasting it, you don't want TV to be like in America, where you can't turn it on without seeing/hearing something about sex, because kids watch TV, too. And props to the agency for not changing it, and stuff.

But that's not really true though. Americans have a wide variety of tv shows with different themes and concepts. Kids have plenty of shows to watch.

The only problem these networks and the ministry of gender equality and family have with sexuality is when it is portrayed from a strictly female perspective. ; They take issue with songs and videos like Ga In's Bloom, but are completely fine with videos filled with male gaze camera angles (HyunA - Ice Cream, etc.) or other sexually explicit references so long as they appeal to men (Stella - Marionette). ; How that represents gender equality beats the hell out of me.
