So the whole point of Mi Rae coming back from the future was to change the present so she wouldn't end up married to the wrong guy, so the constantly changing plans are to be expected. However, Ajumma (which, for those of you just joining us, is what we're calling Mi Rae's older self so we don't get confused) doesn't seem to know herself as well as she thought she did. Ajumma (Choi Myung Gil) keeps telling Mi Rae (Yoon Eun Hye) to do one thing, and not only does Mi Rae not do what she's told, but she doesn't do what's expected, either. Beyond that, fate seems to have a mind of it's own that even Mi Rae can't quite grasp.  Let's take a look at a few of the times plans took an unexpected turn in episode five of 'Marry Him If You Dare'...

5. Mi Rae doesn't go with Shin...

Pretty early in the episode, Shin (Lee Dong Gun) calls Mi Rae and asks her to meet him at the East gate of the YBS building for a broadcasting lesson. Even though Mi Rae intends to go with him at first, she gets a call to meet Se Ju (CNBLUE's Yonghwa) at the west gate before she can go. Ajumma tells Mi Rae that she trusts her to make the right choice. Much to Ajummas delight, Mi Rae goes west...

4. ... but she doesn't go with Se Ju either.

In true Mi Rae fashion, our heroine looks at the options in front of her and, instead of choosing one, she invents a third. Sure, she goes west, but she takes the bus straight home, leaving both guys behind. It couldn't be as simple as choosing neither one, however- Mi Rae instead decided she could hang out with both. She postpones her lesson with Shin and plans an amusement park date with Se Ju, but...

3. When she does go with Se Ju, they don't go to the amusement park.

The downpour that prevented them from a real airport date wasn't exactly Mi Rae's fault, but the ensuing adventure through Se Ju's fake home to watch his video project from college was all Mi Rae's doing. Se Ju frantically trying to figure out where the bathroom is, and his excuse for why the fridge was empty (I ate all the food yesterday!) cracked me up. Of course, this is all in vain since Mi Rae already knows about his wealth- considering how he feels about girls who chase money, I wonder how he'll feel if/when he finds out she knew all along?

2. The meeting with Shin gets moved earlier

Mi Rae's not the only one changing plans around on us here- in fact, when it comes to Shin, she runs several blocks just to avoid being late for their rescheduled-on-short-notice meeting. This had to sting a little for Team Se Ju, since Mi Rae had only just left their date before rushing to Shin's side, but it's not like these two have time on their side. Why? Well...

1. Shin is getting sent to the countryside, not New York

Oh, Shin and his principles. Everyone keeps warning him to calm down and that rigidly adhering to his principles is going to be his undoing (including Ajumma, who literally knows the future), but he insists on sticking to his guns. In this case, sticking to his guns could be career suicide, as that's what's going to land him as a countryside correspondent instead of a New York correspondent like Ajumma suggested... yikes, can't anyone stick with the plan? Of course Shin, being Shin, has always got a trick or two up his sleeve.
