The prosecution has announced that they will be dropping charges against�Son Ho Young�for the fire he started during his suicide attempt with the reasoning that the singer is a first-time offender and other than his car, not much else suffered damage.

The Seoul District Public Prosecutor's Office stated on the 19th, "Mr. Son is a first-time offender and other than his car that caught on flames by accident, there wasn't damage to anything else."

Originally, they had planned to press charges because although Son Ho Young didn't mean to set his car on fire, with the car going up in flames, it created a potential risk of causing harm to the surrounding and people around the car.

To recap on the previous events, Son Ho Young attempted suicide back in May following the same method his late girlfriend had used by bringing butane gas into the car. However before the gas got to him, the car had accidentally caught on fire, shocking the singer out of his state, and he managed to get out of the car just in time. Since then, the singer has been�released from the hospital and is currently said to be recovering while spending time with his father.
