Super Junior was nominated under the 'Best Asia Act' category for the 2012 MTV EMAs (Europe Music Awards), despite the vigorous efforts of ELF, it has been announced that former Super Junior member Hangeng was selected as the 'Best Asia Act'.

Best Asia Act: HAN GENG

Known as "the most influential male celebrity in China", Chinese Mando-pop singer and actor Han Geng is undoubtedly dominating Southeast Asia. In 2005, he debuted in South Korea as the only Chinese member of Super Junior & the leader of its Chinese squad SJ-M but eventually left to focus on a solo career in 2009. His 1st solo album sold over a million copies and tickets to his 1st concert sold out in a record-breaking 37 minutes.

Hangeng will be going against Gotye with the winner representing the Asia Pacific region and moving on to the 'Worldwide Act' nomination which was won by Big Bang last year. You can vote for Hangeng here.
