4minute has been gaining attention for shedding their fierce, sexy on-stage image for a more innocent beauty for a recent photoshoot.

The 4minute girls participated in a photoshoot for fashion magazine 'Vogue Girl' with an innocent concept which contrasted greatly from their usual sexy image, wearing neutral colored clothes and barely any makeup. Especially surprising was HyunA's transformation, as the member who has affectionately been called "sexy from birth", she transformed into a fresh young girl with her milky skin and loose, waved hairstyle.

The 4minute members revealed, "On stage, we've always worn flashy outfits and thick makeup, such as wearing 3 sets of fake eyelashes, so we've always wanted to do a photoshoot with this concept." A representative from Cube Entertainment reinforced the girls' statement, saying, "The 4minute members wanted to show people their girlish images. They're about to release a new album, so we're glad they got an opportunity to show fans a 'girlish 4minute.'"
