Earlier on the year we reported about former Korean star Yoo Seung Jun / Steve Yoo and how he'd be starring in a movie alongside with famous Chinese martial arts actor Jackie Chan. Now the movie titled "Little Big Soldier (aka Junior Soldiers)" is set to release on the Chinese Lunar New Year of 2010. Not many of you may be familiar with this man and only know him through our articles so here's just a memory refresher: Yoo Seung Jun grew up in Los Angeles as a teenager and came to Korea in his late teens to become a singer. He was one of the top K-Pop singers in the 90's and hit his peak in the late 90s with hits like Passion, Scissors, NaNaNa, I Will Be Back and more. But unfortunately, Yoo Seung Jun was exiled from Korea when he gained an American citizenship to avoid doing his mandatory military service. Previous to getting his American Citizenship, Yoo Seung Jun stated many times on various television programs that he would fulfill his obligation to serve as a Korean male. There's been much controversy about whether he was in the right or wrong and if he even deserved the punishment he got. Most recently people have been referring to him in the matters of the Jaebeom scandal, saying the two situations are alike but that's not true, now is it? Being an avid fan of his music and one of the very few who actually missed his presence in Korean media, I got to meet him several years back and he was a cool guy. The past is the past, hopefully he can be forgiven. With that said, will this be his comeback? Yoo Seung Jun has been trying to make it in the Chinese media since his ban from Korea in 2002 and this movie is his first big debut since.
