Was G-Dragon excluded from the GDA's?

At the 24th Golden Disk Awards, G-Dragon failed to win any awards, not even a Bonsang. Despite his successful solo debut with over 100,000 album sales and his most recent concert being sold-out within minutes, at the 2009 Golden Disk Awards, G-Dragon was nearly invisible. But perhaps it was better that he didn't win, as if he had, there would've been even more controversy. Although he had one of the highest selling albums of the year, his album faced a mind-blowing amount of plagiarism issues, as well as being tagged for suggestive content, in addition to the issues he is now facing with his sexually explicit displays at his concert, which are all thought to be the reasons why he did not win. The Daesang's and Bonsang's instead went to Super Junior and SNSD, who were just as successful, less the controversies. V.I.P's however, are starting to protest and are making complaints about the award show. Due to all of the controversies, I can see why blondie didn't win anything, but do you think that he should've? Regardless of all the year end controversies, at least 2010 will be a better year, as all 5 members of Big Bang will be coming back to the k-pop music scene.

  1. BIG BANG
  2. G-DRAGON
  3. GOLDEN DISK AWARDS
  4. HEARTBREAKER
