Justin Chon Down the Rabbit Hole
I’m sure many of you are excited for Rain’s Hollywood breakthrough film Ninja Assassin for next week, but that’s not all that’s going on – the ridiculously famous Twilight saga is back with its second installment, New Moon, set to hit theatres in the States today, November 20th!
Last weekend, the allkpop crew met up with Justin Chon, who plays the hilarious Eric Yorkie in the Twilight series. Earlier this year, we featured this rising actor up in the Attic, his clothing store, but this time he definitely went down the rabbit hole… if you’re confused, well, the interview will be pretty self-explanatory.
Our sleep-deprived, bleary-eyed staff (well, maybe that was just me – I missed the last flight to LA on Friday the 13th and pulled an all-nighter in the airport) pulled into the photo studio at 10AM expecting a srs bzns interview. Justin however had a plan of his own. Within minutes, he had set up an Alice-in-Wonderland-esque world, complete with tiny chairs and a picket fence. Sure, Justin’s character Eric Yorkie is hilarious in the Twilight series, but we never expected him to be just as, if not more, funny in person. Undeniably good looks and a sense of humor? Edward Cullen better watch his back!

…but cute. And charismatic. He took a good approach to establishing the relationship between himself and the young lady, in my opinion.

I went to cinema to watch Twilight 2 yesterday.. For be honnest I don’t really like Twilight, I just went there for see him : $ (and becfause friends wanted watch this movie XD)

I am Asian American and am so tired of hearing about if your Asian American then you are not Asian enough. No matter how I wake up in the morning I am going to look Asian. People will always first and foremost see that. I think you did GREAT on the interview freakishly entertaining!

The interview was prety good. Piece of advice, lower the volume of the background music just a little more, there are some parts of the interview where the background music is dominating the voices of the interviewer and the person being interviewed.
