[UPDATE] 2PM in USA 2010!

Dear allkpop readers,

In regards to the legitimacy of our article, allkpop released the news of 2PM’s US debut based upon information provided directly from the VP of JYPE to allkpop. In respect to JYPE, we did not release this news immediately. However, because JYP has been unveiling more information regarding 2PM and its future overseas activities on his twitter, we believed JYPE had been validating the information we had initially received. In genuine efforts to provide our loyal readers this breaking news first, allkpop contacted JYPE many times during the past month for comment or confirmation. JYP’s recent tweet, which took place after the submission of this article, was the first announcement stating that plans were unconfirmed.

We apologize for any confusion this may have caused, and still remain committed to deliver allkpop readers breaking news and the most exclusive content first. Thanks for your understanding.

You’ve heard the rumors and predictions, and now it’s official – JYP is bringing yet another JYPE family member to the States! 2PM debuted with a splash last year and quickly escalated to become the Hottest performers of 2009. The seven-man team has been immensely popular not only for their catchy songs and acrobatic stage performances, but for their hilarious antics and distinctive personalities. Back when we were behind scenes with the Wonder Girls in San Jose, JYPE staff had tipped us that 2PM would debut in America in 2010. Yes, not just a tour, but an official US debut!

So will 2PM follow the Wonder Girls’ footsteps and promote their Korean songs, or will they start afresh with something totally new? I’m sure many of you have got a lot of questions, so stay tuned as allkpop provides further updates!

    I can do Illinois, and one of each of these maybe. Vegas, LA, NYC, Miami, maybe two of them. I just want to meet them. Already met my Japanese favorite singers, Morning Musume. Might as well meet the guys I’m in love with. lol
