Sori Seduces With Real Lips MV
After first making her debut last Friday on KBS2TV Music Bank with her sexy Real Lips performance, we were treated to more of the same in her music video today.
The single Real Lips was made possible by assembling the best in the business. Famous composer Bang Si Hyuk who had wrote songs in the past for Rain, G.O.D., Baek Ji Young, etc created the song for Sori and is considered to be along the same line as Baek Ji Young’s Give Your Lips song. The dance chereography was done by dance god, Nam Hyun Joon while music video was directed by BoA’s brother, Kwon Soon Wook.
The song talks about how a woman’s lips keeps going out of control with men because it’s too pretty. The yoohoo yoohoohoo part is especially seductive on repeated listens although the song is overly digitally enhanced. After performing her song on Music Bank, it immediately drew comparisons with Baek Ji Young to which Sori expressed her delight and said she will do even better in future to display more of her charisma to fans.

Anyways, .. eh… the MV was good for a newbie (this is BoA’s brother’s first one I think).
I was expecting a lot more from Hyun Joon.. I guess being a good dancer =\= good choreographer.

She IS really pretty but yeah… her face isn’t very unique compared to the swarm of other pretty Korean celeb faces. XD; For me, it’s easy to forget her kind of face. As for the song, I didn’t really think much of it. (For some reason I kept thinking of DBSK’s “Mirotic” after watching it instead of Real Lips O~o;… weird.) It reminded me a little of Son Dambi’s “Crazy” (a song that I don’t really like) for some reason (not saying that she copied. It just reminded me of it) and I didn’t think the MV was really that well made either. (A disappointment since the director IS BoA’s brother…) Maybe I set my expectations too high when I read the description XD;;. Just my opinion~
