when SM groups pass a certain age, the funding starts to taper. Am an ELF. We are now left with just supporting the groups no matter what. HYBE for all its worth is still supporting SVT, even though G-Friend was random and now we know the funding went to the group that shll not be named.
Hmm... she can rock anything... but the red and blue outfits looks like what a Formula One race girl would wear as uniform .... the white cropped top in denim shorts look great though.
obviously , ppl are really seeing it through now, about how kpop is a dark world and now one is wanting to do it anymore for example:
1. slave contracts
2. agencies not backing their artists up
3. ceos harrasing their trainees and idols
And netizens and saesangs taking a toll on their mental health 🐘🚪
Can't blame him. New Jeans is obviously siding with MHJ and they're still disputing....
So if HYBE convinces them to stay New Jeans should be ok.
They've improved so much in acting... and the production value is insane!
I think this is for kids. No offense but vampires and vampire hunters...what and where is the relatable message? I'm tired of these weird concepts. But I still love you Enhypen...
Check ENO'Clock Episode 81.
Too cute!!
Congratulations.... stay healthy Enha!!!
Welcome back ENHYPEN!!!
It’s a crazily talented group especially Lara. I hope the labels give them bops
that showcase their talents. Can’t wait!!!
I miss 2NE1 and f(x)… but a lot of 4th Gen girl crush groups like ITZY and GIDLE (and two other groups I shall not name) reference their concepts … maybe they were even the pioneer group of girl crush?
TVXQ5
He was obviously so well liked in the military... and Jimin gave him this big big big hug!!! RM was too funny with the saxophone... he plays so well :). Borahae!
He wanted... to do a free event... for a month... i'm overwhelmed, i can't believe how sweet and precious this man is. Army are so lucky to have him and bts, this relationship is unbelievable
Yeah... really really really miss Bangtan...
Really happy for Lee Chae min!! He acted well here
I don't think this is accurate since its currently at 107k dislikes
That's an estimate. You can check how it's calculated in my post in this thread which sources the application's methodology from the one who wrote it. And then how trolls and online attackers can use this to manipulate the estimated dislike stats.
Hi, if you’re using that application, the creator of the app wrote an article on GitHub and posted a video on how that number is estimated after YouTube disabled the dislike statistics.
it’s estimated from clicks from end users and from their past track record of positive vs. negative comments and likes of other videos .
In essence it’s infested with accounts created for trolling and online attacks, as opposed to genuine neutral users who got upset.
I’ve written to HYBE. If they have the means, they can track down the IP addresses of users starting malicious accounts to know who’s attacking the company
We can agree to disagree but online attacks killed a lot of idols and as you know it did get vicious in Korea in the past
Clarification: They take the number of likes in the public like count. They know the number of users subscribed to the Chrome extension. Using that SMALL SAMPLE of K-netizens who subscribed to the extension, they calculate the ratio of like vs. dislikes... and THEN multiply it by the actual number of likes.
Hence it is very prone to distortion. What we do know is there's a lot of antis and troll accounts who did subscribe to that extention and can use that to manipulate the "dislike" count.
Obviously, the API didn't manage to hack the YouTube server with a cybersecurity/privacy breach.

You still didn't refute it haha. Deep in your heart you know they fucked up 😂
Thanks troll, they did not. I am beginning to think that was for investors as they continue to pursue legal action.
If you check my comment on the other thread, I believe that there’s a coordinated online attack going on that video and on multiple sites with a deliberate strategy to manipulate and misinform the public
it’s no different from the brainwashing tactics used by QAnon
Facebook has banned such content but Koop sites are under less scrutiny
but you didn't refute it. Biased fact is still fact 🤓
I rather not go into TLDR here. Suggest you check the original video. Most journalists add their own spin into things when publishing sometimes to attract views.
Just installed that too.. thanks!!
Any idea how we know if that indicator is accurate and not an estimate?
Hello readers, I found the answer on GitHub. As this video was created after YouTube has disabled the dislike stats, it's an estimate that uses statistics on whether the users were already positive or negative to begin with, watching the video.
Conclusion: There's probably a lot of anti-HYBE trolls watching that one.

Why is allkpop posting only articles in favor of Hybe?

Which planet are you on? It's pro-MHJ and BTS ex HYBE (at least for now). It's just more subtle about it. Koreaboo is just a lot more in your face.
I used a extension that allows you to look at the dislikes.
Just installed that too.. thanks!!

Yes, I know, I love ILLIT and Belift did a 90% great job, especially on the music, however it is undeniable that they made stupid choices and copied other groups here and there. Nothing serious, but many small clues put together become evidence about their way of working (for example, in the 'Magnetic' MV there is a climactic scene in which Yuhna breaks down a wall. Just a MONTH BEFORE Sakura broke down a wall in the best scene of the MV 'Good Bones' by Le Sserafim). Even the choice to debut 5 girls after RUNext is stupid, given that the concept and choreography are 'inspired' by NJ. The fact that they chose 'LILY' as their fandom name to the ire and laughter of NMIXX supporters is stupid. And it didn't end here. Maybe some of their creatives don't know kpop.
Finally, the fact that NJ were the absolute protagonists of their video proves that Belift were wolves behaving like sheep.
I think they opened up a can of worms on Kpop. Essentially everyone is referencing and retrofitting everyone else. I have no illusion kpop is manufactured. Even BTS didn't like Dynamite that much but it was selling so they kept going until they timed out and gave us the IDGAF about charting tracks.
It tells me the market is hitting saturation, not only of the customers where sales are down, but also of ideas. That includes but doesn't limit to New Jeans which references western girl groups in the 90s with a Korean ideal type makeover. I mean how many audition programs have we been through by now?
I wouldn't say that NJ was the protagonist in the video -- they were showing how ILLIT had very specifically avoided copying New Jeans. Whether people want to believe it is another matter.
Trivia: ILLIT was supposed to debut with six girls. One of them allegedly was forced to quit just before debut. She was a Source trainee.
What the CEO of Belift says is not important, the important thing is that they used chaotic image comparisons to accuse NJ of plagiarism. They want to continue towage war on NJ but they have already lost.
I suggest you just listen to the actual video without any pre-existing bias. The whole thing was the normal day staffs who were in the creative, styling and operations teams, explaining their creative process, and putting out the facts that they were intentionally AVOID clashing with New Jeans concept wise.
A Korean speaker clarified that the phrase was mistranslated by the users AI translation app.
In context, as someone once said context is important, the phrase reads that ILLIT should have a concept that is NOT like New Jeans, which is Y2K, nostalgic and people’s “ideal type”
I hope this helps.
Good to have the courts settle this; better than a tonne of media narration. Hope this gets wrapped up fairly and soon.
it's too close to the fires.... 3 KM?
