Now I've picked eight groups because I don't think they will make RTQ and will just do Queendom with one-two groups being eliminated after first/second round. And then six groups will have a battle which will last for two-three episodes, and then we will get the final episode with either full six groups, or another one will be eliminated to make final with 5 groups. Of course there is also scenario in which they won't eliminate any group but with this one I would expect MNet to have smaller line-up with max 6 groups from the start. was thinking much about GFriend but let's be honest earliest time when we can get Queendom 2 will be late fall 2021. And GFriend contract at "max" is up until January 15th 2022 (I think it ends earlier, because groups usually sign a deal at least few weeks before debut).

Yall do realize that queendom needs ratings. These lineups are giving me more road to queendom vibes. i think it should be more like Itzy—>popular senior (Mamamoo) Apink—->past their peak but still relevant (AOA) Jessi—-> soloist(park bom) Wjsn—-> mid tier group (oh my girl) Everglow—-> low mid tier group (lovelyz) Aespa or roty 2021/2020—->(G)I-dle
It might be easier to agree on groups that are too popular to be in Queendom. I'd also avoid popular rookie groups if there are talented older groups. Itzy is too popular. I'm torn on Hyolyn. I think she could definitely use the exposure given her success so far as a solo artist. But, I also think she could blow everyone else out of the water. She'd end up getting chased around like Hwasa for the collab episode. Same with Hyuna and Chungha. Of course, all this can change in a couple years.
