Then make an argument about THAT. Nicki is a skinny girl with a big ass, why did you feel like you had to dismiss fat people and their problems when THEY haven't made a viral song????

i did not dismiss fat people

as i said in the title fatshaming is a problem but skinny shaming is becoming one too

just because you wanna lessen fatshaming which is totally a good thing doesnt mean you have to increase skinny shaming which is a bad thing

    and both are happening rn

Nobody wants skinny shaming to be a thing either. But being skinny will still be more acceptable than being fat/curvy. Super skinny girls might get bashed but they're also adored in the fashion industry, to the point where there was tumblr blogs of people romanizing these stuff. You will never see these things with fat people or obese people.

Both skinny and fat people all feel insecure of their bodies. I'm skinny and I feel insecure being in my skin. Body shamming someone, when you don't understand them, might even put them into a depression state. That why I don't get why people still body shame...

Why? Confidence should be idolized. Why are internal qualities like confidence being shamed based on someone's outer appearance?

And if someone doesn't like their body, regardless of weight, a lack of confidence can actually hinder any progress.

Also nothing you said happens in real life. Overweight people are treated like garbage regardless of how amazing they might be. You've already reduced overweight people into stereotypes who just "park their asses and eat junk" and being "unhealthy snackers" despite not knowing their situations. If you want to speak out about what people say to skinny people, fine. But that can be a stand-alone topic that doesn't degrade others.

which is why some skinny people who are confident get skinny shamed too? If that is concern, so is fatshaming.

In reality, none of it is.

Also I did not generalize only highlighted a specific part of it

Your viewpoint treats people as though they are stupid. They don't need you to tell them or "make them aware" of what they are doing. They know what they look like and they know better than anyone what's going on. They are under no obligation to change on your timeline.

Body shaming people is NEVER okay. It's weird to me that people claim they care about others while shaming them "for their health." Mental health is a thing too, but because people can't look at it they don't have to pretend they care.

Also you should never tell a person anything about their body/weight. If it's not wanted and it wasn't asked, then no one wants your two cents

I think that being skinny isn’t healthy but being fat isn’t either. People should stop telling fat people to walk around pRoUd because it’s not healthy, nor is being skinny.

People body is different like how taste and color are different lol

Some people can eat 5k calories a day and not gaining a single pound when some other just eat one burger and will gain 1kg right after. I know and see for myself those example in real life. People are just dumb to judge someone health based on weight (when not really extremely obvious like if you weight 150kg for 160cm or 30kg for 170cm there is a problem you cant say otherwise).

As for me it is just my personnal taste that I really prefer normal people. Not skinny nor chubby.
