Right now, Z-Stars are not popular, but if they continue with what they doing, they will one day reach America and Europe, where diversity are accepted. SM tried to push a Kpop group where everybody looks the same for westerners, no people of color and thats why they failed.

I think they'd be more popular in South Asia and South East Asia and just Asia rather than America or Europe, to be honest.

To be successful anywhere, first & foremost they need good songs....
Unfortunately their songs didn't leave a good impression on me until now.
May be that will change in future.

Diversity of members isn't enough to make it big.

Maybe if they were under a bigger and better company than Zenith Media Contents. But seeing how Zmc couldn't even make Wanna.B, LipBubble and poor Zest even popular in their home turf, the chances are 0.

Can you be more specific about why they have a chance besides "diversity" jargon? American music aren't diverse enough so something like Z-B/Z will be exceptionally welcomed and appreciated? or are you specifically speaking about American K-Pop fans? but here's another question, is there any demand about the "diverse" group from them?
And also against financial and marketing giants like SM & Capitol?

I don't see them would gain any success unless they released something like Despacito.

Sometimes I wonder if this whole Z-POP project which is supposedly to give other asian nations besides Japan, China and Thailand a chance to become a idol, just a bad excuse to keep them even further away from Kpop. Zenith could have just debuted them as a Kpop group and added korean members. I'm pretty sure they would gain more fans than being ignored by most people.
