Basically why do the people in groups or the group itself is underrated/unpopular. Like for me I know Jeongyeon is underrated because she doesn' sing that often and she's forced to be the girl crush of the group. While Jihyo and Hyoyeon are underraed not because of talent(especially H as they didn' fully use her during Girls generation) but because Koreans think they're ugly. And KNK my fave,but truly underrated because if the massive influx of KPOP groups even though they're all very talented.
I think NCT isn't as popular as people expect from them because mainly they go by a while different concept/sound then what people are used to from an SM group
For EXID I think none of them are really unpopular now but people only really started noticing Jeonghwa in L.I.E era I think and only started really noticing Hyelin after Solji became ill and she got to show what she could do more.
Luna. In f(x) people love Krystal, Sulli and Victoria more, even Amber. Also because she probably doesn't fit into Korean beauty standards. Other than that I really don't know. SOMEBODY TELLS ME WHY KOREA SLEEPS ON LUNA.
Well, I wouldn't exactly say that Ailee is unpopular, but I don't think she gets as much publicity as the others. She has a killer voice and is very pretty. I think it's because she's not in a group and she has a great amount of talent. Hard for me to answerw, but that's just my opinion.
LAY from EXO!!! He did not get a lot of screen time nor lines. He has the visuals and vocals! And his dancing is no joke. I'm glad he's doing solo thing's so people are able to see all his talents shine ^^
Irene She's not unpopular but kinda underrated when it comes to dancing and singing. People only like her for her looks but she has improved a lot as dancer & singer.
Bobby is pretty popular, i think? But dosent fit korean beauty standards and well the bandwagon hate on ikon is strong
Jinwoo used to be a lot of underrated in the past in my opinion ; a lot of people only saw him as visuals and some people also said, that he's useless. But he trained a lot and since Really Really now a lot of people (also non-Incles) appreciate him <3
Just to add Cosmic Girls. I like them ,but compared to other mid level girl groups they aren't that popular. Also since they come from the same company that created Sistar I feel like to me personally how it was sorta a let down cause Sistar was never had the fairy/ magical / innocent image to them since they had the sexy /affirmative/cool/summer image. And I know Cosmic girl's image is the trend ,but damn

SHINee Key! He can sing, dance, rap, and act. Everyone in SHINee dances really well, so it's difficult to stand out. But I really admire his dancing, there's a different flavor to it (I love Taemin, I think he and Key are equally great. I just prefer Key's dancing.) Also, I think he's super handsome.
BTS Jin He is popular I love his singing and he's handsome but WOW why doesn't he get more lines!!! His singing is really underrated including Taehyung they only give the maknae line more credit when it comes to singing....
Mmm, I guess all BB and 2NE1 members are rated high in general. But in terms of Seungri, I think people sometimes underrate him, his skills and talents, and his importance too.
Dahyun is my bias but she's pretty popular. But, Jihyo my bias wrecker is soo so underrated. She has one of the best voices in the group, sings the most, and is legit so beautiful. Still, people want her out cuz she's a "visual hole" in the group. Like are you blind...
