Most of the new songs are not to my taste. I actually liked their earlier releases more and only liked Sour Candy this year. People who undermine others taste in music are just straight up trash.
Easy answer: Music is subjective. But it's not that easy in BP's case. Some people have started hating on everything BP, because they've become too popular. They're intimidated by the wall that BP has built in 2020. You can deny the facts all you want, but you know some of this is the truth
No worries man. It's not like other groups have better songs anyway. I barely can sit to listen half of the songs of other groups too. People have their opinion eventhough they sounds like a bullshit all the time. But like you said i don't running around complaining about other groups bad music either, instead i focused on my favs only. So let them complain maybe their favs would get the same type of hype eventually.

Well 90% of the dislike for BP's music comes from Kpop fans and I think a reason for that is obvious, it's overplayed same-old-same-old from YGe to them. When BP debuted they had songs like Whistle, Boombayah, Stay, etc and these all have an individual feel to them, sure it's familiar stuff but still fresh enough in it's own way. D4 is when they basically regressed musically to releasing slightly altered versions of the same song. D4, KTL, HYLT are all essentially the same song formula and it's something even Blinks have noticed since Teddy is now something of a divisive figure among the fans(at least on AKP) it just sounds like BBB, Fantastic Baby, etc for a more modern audience but the same YG beat drop 'banger' sound.
I like the most songs... I for example don't like LSG at all. It is such a mess of the song in my opinion. They are sad a little, than they happily dance, combination of everything in that song just makes no sense to me. And idk why people say that their lyrics are bad. Yes, there are some Du-du-du and similar moments, but overall lyrics are pretty good. For example "How you like that" has amazing lyrics. Those lyrics can have more meanings which is perfect example of good lyrics.
