#1. Who's Who?? Mr. Number, Mr. Piano, and Mr. Painter teach math, music, and art. Their names do not necessarily go with their disciplines. the math teacher carpools with Mr. Piano and is the newest teacher. Mr. Number has taught at the school longer than the music teacher. Spoiler: Work shown like a good girl Number - Art Piano - Music Painter - Math The math teacher is the newest teacher. The music teacher must be the middle in terms of time spent teaching because it's revealed in the last sentence that he's not the oldest, and the math teacher is the newest. The art teacher is the only one left and thus must be Mr. Number, who has taught for the longest. The two left are music and math. Piano cannot be the math teacher because he carpools with the math teacher. That said, Painter is the math teacher. Piano is the only one left, he is the music teacher.

Spoiler: answer to #1 Because we know that the math teacher car pools with Mr. piano, Mr. piano cannot be the Math teacher. Because we know that Mr. Number has taught at school the longest, and the Math teacher is new. Mr. Number is not the Math teacher either. Therefore Mr. Painter is the Math teacher. Because we know that Mr. Number has taught longer than the music teacher. Mr. Number cannot be the Music teacher. Therefore Mr. Number is the Art teacher. Leaving Mr. Piano to be the Music teacher. #2. Getting The Operations Right. Without moving around the seven digits on the left of the equal sign. Place the operation signs +, -, x, /, and (parantheses)....
