It was supposed to be a idea to include other asians that usually are not welcomed in Kpop to become idols. To let Southeast Asia shine as they wanted Zpop to be. Zpop was marketed like a Kpop project since it started. But now, after 1 yr, Zenith Media Contents, their korean liaison has been shut down, both groups transfered to a singaporean company and one Zgirls member left the group. Shunned by the korean entertainment industry, they had to go to lowkey shows in Southeast Asia that didn't gain them anything. Now it has been silent for over two months, with some lame old photo updates. Is it the end for them or can they bounce back?

They needed a Korean member (preferably Ami from Wanna.b and Shin from Zest) and they needed to release music in Korean, they shouldn't have done all this multiple generations crap (especially when the first group wasn't established yet),and they should have released more music

Did Korea even care about them?
I mean if the concept was to include Asians that usually aren‘t welcomed in SK then their main target should have definitely been Koreans. I don‘t think the approval of international fans helped them that much

I agree, but it's too late for them now. Zenith doesn't exist anymore and they lost their dorms and training facilities in Korea. They have disconnected themselves entirely from Korea and Kpop.

I feel sad for the members. I read from interviews, all of them thought they were joining a Kpop project. But sadly, it was just a gimmick stunt to trick them thinking it was that they dreamed off, but instead turned into a identity crisis genre.

Such a catchy song, it's a shame they didn't make it in Korea :(

    What? I‘m shook
    That‘s awful.

The thing is I do actually understand what they were trying with this concept, however to be honest I don‘t think SK is the right market for such ‘experiments'. We just have to take a look at Rania‘s Alex and how they were 'trying‘ to incorporate her into a group full of Koreans.

Yes it is very dirty done against them :( If you look at the Assemble ZPOP video. If I was watching that and went to their audition, I would think it was Kpop right away. All those idols and korean celebrities on that marketing video was just a trick....

No surprise coming from Zenith. Such trash. I'll never forgive them for what they did to Wanna.b, Zest, and Lip Bubble.

If there is any comfort for those groups, is Zenith has been shut down. A small justice for them.

Probably not. I know Lip Bubble officially disbanded which I feel bad for because they were so young.

Yeah “health reasons”. More like she has a pretty face and could make more money as a actress/model rather than being below nugu status in SK. Company is just trying to save face instead of saying she left cause the group is a complete failure.

Personally i think the creator screwed them from the beginning. They are marketed as a fad rather than a normal kpop group and that just turned lots of ppl off. I haven’t even listened to their music because they don’t feel like a kpop group at all. They felt like a cheap imitation.

Next company that wants to do something like this needs to STFU about being revolutionary and just debut them.

The company was being overly ambitious and had this idea that they were going to be the ultimate global group. The funny thing is they wanted to be global and act above kpop but then got all upset when Korean didn't want them to promote on music shows cause all of their songs are in English This idea could of easily worked if they had at least 1 Korean member, primarily sang in Korean and then translated the song in other languages just like other kpop groups do for the Japanese market. They seemed kinda cocky and entitled. I feel bad for the members they deserved more and were so talented.

I believe more the ''Globalization By Localization'' that JYP is doing with NiziU is a better strategy than a pan-asian group.

Yeah they could have saved themselves a lot of problems if they just did that. It's so sad and shameful by their company to trick them they were joining Kpop. That for me, was the worst thing of all by Zpop. Crushing people's dreams.
