If when they debut they have the same generic schoolgirl/cheerleader concept as basically 99% of girl groups.

Or am I missing something. I always kept hearing Loona turned something or other on its head.

The effort BBC put into their pre-debut stuff was astounding to say the least

    So it’s just a gimmick.

Unless you think going broke before debut than after is a genius move.

I hope Orbits don't take offense to this but I personally think the pre-debut project was wasted. They all have solos/sub-units to gain individuality but none of them really stood out in either Favorite or Hi High. Too many members, I guess? I still love the MV though. It's one of my favorites this year.

Whole thing is a disappointment - personally I think BBC are shitting on the fans who have stayed with them for years

    their predebut stage:
-each member being able to go solo
    -having 3 different sub-units
    -different concepts

    plus they are talented :
-Chuu is an amazing vocalist and the most of the group is pretty much lead vocal level but with unique tones(example Kim Lip)
-almost anyone can rap, soem are good (Jinsoul)and some are decent
-their visuals are really the best...and i say this as a stan of Bp/Rv/GsD

overall, they realese quality music too

If you miss the point completely as to why Loona are different, then that's on you. 2 years of story telling, good music and meaningful messages from the group via solo work and sub-units have obviously gone over your head. There is a reason for the sound they went with, yet the musicality of the group will be mixed from comeback to comeback. They will remain diverse in music and go from one concept to another. They will continue to tell stories and show sides to them as a group, as units and individually that will keep fans interested in the diverse nature of Loona.

If you are not a fan of the group, then you may have missed BBC's continued explanation of every thing they have done, per solo, per unit, per song, and as a group. If you want to understand Loona, either try to interpret their MV/concept and songs yourself, or find community sites that give info from BBC that explain all you need to know.

Or, if you don't care, why the fuck are you making threads about them?

I still feel like it has something about it that makes it a bit more than just a generic bubblegum pop song. Idk how to explain but it was just wayyy more satisfying to listen to than most songs of that nature. Like it doesn't make me want to vomit when I start listening to it like most bubblegum pop kinda songs and I liked it first listen rather than having to listen to it a few times for it to start sounding okay. I still feel like it has a Loona touch to it, just not as distinct as their solos and sub-units.

My only problem was that their debut wasnt as amazing and explosive as I expected from them. Even Favorite was better imo.

If you think the concept was generic cheerleader/schoolgirl then you clearly have zero knowledge about Loona.

Personally I don't really care about the whole theory stuff and Loonaverse storyline but it's still plain as day that there's something much deeper going on in every music video.
