am I missing something, it is literally just cosmetic enhancement that doesn't affect one soul, why would it be shameful or embarrassing? aren't people entitled to their very own face? o_O my classmates got it, my aunt got it, my friend got it and they happily talk about it if asked, it is literally so common

i think people point out plastic surgery just to piss fans off cause they know they will come to make stupid excuses

when an idol openly admits to having surgery, people stop bothering about it lol

also, a lot of fans genuinely care about idols and find them beautiful for who they are so they might be upset if what they adored them for is gone forever
you know how attached fans can get to idols

as for real issues, PS at a young age starts showing signs easily as you approach your 30s and then it becomes a cycle of doing more or becoming weird looking ( oftimes )
another reason why beautiful people who age gracefully are hailed as natural beauties

Plastic surgery is basically an even bigger lie than drawing 2nd face with too much makeup :)

The one that I hate the most is "I've lost 80 pounds" then you look at photos and you see the effort but the girl doesn't say that she had two ps for the stomach, and one for TT's...

Everyone can do whatever they wanna do with their body. Minor changes are pretty ok for me, i only got a little issue if people don’t know where to stop and when it starts to be an addiction to the point where the person looks totally unrecognizable and unnatural. Unfortunately a lot of Surgeons don’t say no when they see that all the PS one person wants is because of an extreme insecurity and low self-esteem and that the person is probably mentally unstable.

I don't care if people get plastic surgery or not. What matters is do they beautiful or handsome. I enjoy looking at pretty people. But for me, I don't want to do plastic surgery. As I am beautiful as I am.

Personally I don't see anything wrong with it, it's your body. Would I undergo one to enhance my appearance? Probably not. I'm not too keen on surgery, low tolerance for pain and all. Second, I'm quite comfortable with how I look. I might have fallen from the ugly tree hitting all the branches on my way down but I manage.

However, I understand that there are people that suffer from body dysmorphia and they need help and support.

Mostly the issue is to call oneself 'natural' when they are clearly not

Minor changes or reconstructive plastic surgeries
There is nothig wrong with them

But invasive techniques are far from sutile and as people grow older you can see it pretty clearly
And it becomes a vicious cycle because you need to have touch ups constantly

Even if people consider fillers no ps
They actually do stay in your face, and migrate to other places, and the more you put the worse it gets, because it gives you the effect that they disappear (when really it is just spreading and hence why it feels it flatens up)

In itself there is nothing wrong
Better if done by a great surgeon
But lying and the obsession behind it is unhealthy

Also when youngster in their 20s think they need it (which ironically makes them appear older)

The is also, this false sense of gained confidence
    As it doesn't usually last

and when you can change EVERYTHING then it becomes a: oh i'm ugly here here there, now why do my eyes look weird etc
And it does start looking like a mismatched face altogether because the whole balance is off
That is actually much more common than people want to admit

We will never be 100% satisfied with our body because we see it everyday and up close after all
And that is something sometimes people don't want to accept, and you can't exactly stop time either

It's only bad when you overdo it or try to make it seem like you're natural.

It's their body, they can do whatever they want with it. Who are we to decide it's okay or not for an idol to go under plastic surgery? Sure it is disappointing if they were pretty beforehand and I get worried if one get addicted to PS because it's unhealthy but at the end of the day we're only fans. It's none of our business.
