BTOB invented western advancement This was so weird and cool since BTOB wasn't really that known back then and ANTM is such a random choice
America's Next Top Model. They were judges (and mentors) for the KPOP challenge. 2NE1 also performed in the finale of the show.
lol if im honest it looks like a knock off version haha i don't really care about kpop or who performed it just looks so low budget? even my country had pretty classy Next top model.
This was during the tail end of ANTM's run in The CW (they're in VH1 now) so the budget isn't as big but the shoots in Korea were great. The ones that seem to go high budget for their top model franchise seems to be Australia.
It was supposed to die I think a season after this but got revived by VH1. The photoshoots that they did while in Korea
I WATCHED THAT SEASON and I had NO idea who BtoB was at the time Rewatching it now, I can appreciate Peniel explaining stuff in English, and how loud the audience got for BtoB. But man, the challenge was cringy, lol
I mean the have people walking in unrealistic fashion shows (a bubble really?) and doing random shit. I guess if they wanted to feature KPOP they should've just had them do a styling challenge that involves the KPOP trends back then (they already started with EXO's MCM deal).
Ooh yeah, a challenge involving kpop styling would've been neat, to show different makeup styles and poses and maybe even aegyo, lol. Or a Korean variety show challenge, then BtoB would've really shone
