Well, this is just for anyone else in the thread who will come across with the same questions not necessarily for you. Thanks though. He did sell 10M+ Units with each unit costing 0.74 on average.

I think it's important justify the price of the albums because digital sales in Chia seems inflated by the album pricing

For example, Lay's Namanana sold 1.014.122
However Honey released just 8 months later sold humungous 4.535.985, basically over 4 times his former release

However the first album was sold by 27 yuan
The later was sold by just 8 yuan, less than a third of the price

    Full usually around $20
    Mini usually around $15
Could be more or less depending on the group though.

China's music industry is just now starting to grow at a substantial rate. They don't have the same level of organization as Japan, Korea, UK, America does. They are still figuring things out and trying new things. Most singers make even less money from music sales compared to Korean ones. But they do tend to make MORE money than Korean ones when it comes to any Commercials/Advertisements. An A-Tier Group/Singer might cost $400,000 ~ $750,000 to promote a brand for 1 ~ 6 months. A Chinese singer on the same level will be offered $2,000,000 ~ $5,000,000. So there is a difference there also as for touring. Touring while not completely foreign isn't widely done like in Japan or kind of America. Tour numbers are very very very hard to get. For some reason, recording any tour numbers is not on anyones mind.

My favorite singer Jolin recent tour had 125,000+ But she's a solo female singer with a wide international fanbase for a Mandopop singer. Other top groups or singers will have little to no data. Many of them don't even have to tour. They just do CF's and act to make their money.

Finally we get to see the money equivalents. YG's tactic seems to be cheaper albums and it kinda works, didn't expect BP with a mini to make more money than EXO.

EXO strongest platform is Xiami (they had a Xiami-exclusive contract until Janauary 2019), and Xiami is unfortunately absent on this list

Neither Exo or BP have sold as much as I thought, conversion is smaller than I realized. But it's intereting to see who is more popular in China.

I remember trying to find out about the Chinese market out of curiosity and ended up on this after following some article (actually specific to this Luhan person)

Have no idea how the article led me there

Isn't Flower Road a single not an album?
E and D are just single albums right, just 2 songs?

EXO sold more for DMUMT and all other albums. It only shows Obsession?
