...is first: to concentrate mostly on one group only - either a successfully established one.. or a complete new one which has charismatic, talented members.

And second (obvious one): try collabs with Western artists & sing full-English Songs and release them as promoted main single (like MX, but there aren’t Big 3)..
*Edit: after they got a huge following worldwide from point one, not before.*

The first point will never happen & point two alone won’t work, so BTS will probably stay on top as long as they go on like the last years (BUT we all know these 2 points are still the way to go if the others „really“ wanna try to get to their level I think..). ^^

Western collabs only work if the group is already extremely popular (like BTS or BP). NCT, Red Velvet and Monsta X have all collabed with Western artists and released English songs, but nothing came of it.

They could always do one Korean version & one English version for international fans!
Accent shouldn’t be a big problem.. The few English parts in every Kpop song don’t sound that horrible too me from most groups.

It won't work. If it doesn't work for BTS it won't work for any Big 3 group. At all.

It's not 2017 anymore. Big 3 can't catch up to BTS now.

The first point is mute because BTS has a 100 man dedicated team. But TXT has their own dedicated team as well where they don't share the same staff. So both groups are being managed well. As for the second point, BTS don't release full on English songs tho. But western collabs aren't a BTS exclusive thing when collabs have gone so far back as Jason Derulo in the late 2000 and even JYJ, who had a collab with Kanye West in his prime but they never became successful just off of that alone. No one, not even BigHit, knows the secret patty formula that is BTS. All you can chuck it down to, from a business standpoint, is to pray for their very own ARMY.

the only way would be BTS getting into a huge scandal that would primarly affect BTS's korean fandom (and consequently ifandom)

otherwise just wait until fandom growth starts to calm down, and hopefully debuting a group that catchs the attention

I'm afraid NCT isn’t that popular to begin with (no offense).. and Monsta X unfortunately isn’t Big 3 like I said.

I don’t remember RV's example.. but I'm sure it wasn’t a main single (with MV)? :whatr:

No, I agree. I listed BTS and BP as the only groups who could benefit from a Western collab/English song. NCT, Monsta X and Red Velvet's attempts at gaining new fans through English songs and Western collabs have all fallen flat.

Of course it was different in the past, but maybe it could change in the future (if we're being optimistic). xD

BTS is too far ahead for any other to catch up.

If they're doing well in Korea, that's good enough for me. I enjoy the groups I enjoy and that's that. Success like Bts's comes around maybe once every couple of years even for western artists.

That's an understatement. It has to be more than just a couple of years. I would say decade+

In that case, I'm going to come back 3 years from now and see who is on their level
