    Why do I feel like the egotistical horrible superheroes on the trailer are more realistic of human nature if super powers were real.

    I agree. This is the evolution of the anti-hero narrative that’s been so popular lately, only in the marvel universe. Far more interesting story telling. I also enjoy Legion on FX for the same reason.

    Not a fan of the series creator, Garth Ennis. The show might be up my ally (and it's probably good) but my distaste for anything Garth Ennis colors my opinion. Same with Preacher.
