The 3 most popular Korean Cultural focal points among Japanese teenagers: Line, Snow and Twice

    On July 14th, Market research company MACROMILL,INC did a survey with participants of 1,000 Japanese high school students, including both genders, from the age of 15-19, about the 20 most popular focal points (content) among the young generation.

    In the list of top 20, there are 3 focal points from Korean, which are:

    - Messages app Line topped with 75,8% of the votes. This is the most popular focal point at the present among Japanese youngsters.

    - Snow app achieved number 6 on the list with 29,5% of the votes.

    - And Twice, with 12% of the votes, achieved number 16 on the list.

    It is noticeable that most of these focal points are related to popular apps on Smartphone so Twice is an exception. Besides, there are many positive responses from Korean netizens: "We're proud of Korean cultures", "We're so happy and proud of Twice".

    everyone in japan uses Line though although its parent company is Korean, the division that covers line operates completely out of Japan
