I created this thread to talk about Thai movies and Thai dramas. I have watched a lot of Thai martial arts movies such as the Thai movies with the Cambodian actor Tony Jaa movies like the "Ong Bak" movies, the "Tom-Yum-Goong" movies and Thai horror movies such as the movie "Shutter" (2004). Ong Bak (2003) trailer : Ong Bak 2 Starring Tony Jaa Official HD Trailer : Ong Bak 3 - Trailer : Tom Yum Goong (The Protector / The Warrior King) Official Trailer (2005) : The Protector 2 Official Trailer #1 (2014) - Tony Jaa, RZA Martial Arts Movie HD : Shutter (2004) Trailer Remastered HD : Now I am more interested into historical movies and historical dramas. Could you recommend me historical Thai movies and historical Thai dramas please ? I have a preference for stories with wars and political complots like the war of the Three Kingdoms of China for example but you can give me any genre of historical Thai dramas.
Are those critically acclaimed very homoerotic Thai movies as homoerotic as the homoerotic South Korean movie "A Frozen Flower" (2008) ? A Frozen Flower / 쌍화점 Trailer (2008, South Korea, Ha Yoo) : A Frozen Flower (Official Movie) :
I would really like to know the name of those critically acclaimed very homoerotic Thai movies please.
The Legend of Suriyothai (2001) - the VFX might look a bit dated, but then again the movie is almost two decades old ;-) Crazy battle scenes with elephants, lots of political schemes etc. The Overture (2004) - quite slow paced but very interesting and beautifully shot

Thai dramas are underrated I’m glad I’m not the only one on this forum who watches thai dramas and movies.
Girl from Nowhere is friggin' awesome. It reminded me of the Japanese manga series 'Tomie' by Junji Ito. Like seriously, I get chills whenever I see Nanno smile. Just finished watching Until We Meet Again. It's not the first BL series I've watched, though I found this one pretty interesting since it touches on past lives and reincarnation. There are some cringe-worthy moments, but overall a pretty nice series. And of course, the Thai desserts featured in the show! Tropical Malady is one of my faves, though personally, I don't think it's for everyone. It's one of those hit-or-miss films depending on your taste.
