Not a hate thread on them, since I don't have any problems with Momoland. I'm just having a hard time putting pieces together on what happened with them for two members to leave considering all the success they had last year. I'd be really happy if somebody could explain it to me.
Well their company basically restricted Taeha and Daisy from promoting with the other 7 members. And Taeha has health issues, I believe. And as for Yeonwoo, I think she prefers being an actress. She's on the bottom tier for vocal capability and her visual usually gets outshone by Nancy. It makes sense for her to find other ways to shine rather than in a 9 member group. Not sure if this is related, but the company also loves to oversexualize the members, and it's disgusting.
They had a huge smash hit song and then their follow up failed to live up to expectations so they lost a lot of their hype with the public and then they had issues with multiple members which eventually led them to where they are right now.
this is just a thought so no momoland fans come after me i think taeha wanted to explore her own style of music instead of banking off a hit song obvi yeonwoo wants to do her acting thing and im not sure about daisy except that they are keeping her from promoting
went south from the beginning they were a nugu group from a bad company who were probably about to disband they got a mega hit song but the song was more popular than the group itself and basically got a lot of creepy fans who stan the girls for their butts
No offense but the only thing I know about Momoland is One Bboom Bboom song and Bam then Nancy butt popularity (creepy). Thats really it. I feel bad for them they really had a breakout many groups rarely get. People alongside their company focused more on their bodies than their music.
A very bad management company. A while back Yeonwoo had made a statement that she hadn’t ate any beef in 6 months cause they hadn’t been paid. Im not sure if that still holds true today but that would be enough for me to look for a way out.
