Now I don't know much about finances and I won't even take a shot at guessing the numbers, but to me the order seems about right when looking at the net income & sales revenue growth of each company at wsj: SM, JYP, YG
I'm sure there's a lot more than that involved so maybe someone with more knowledge can look at those and come to a better conclusion lol

You do realize when you say YG's "No.2 cos of BP", that iKon has brought in just as much as cash as BP has right? With their 3 comebacks, their most likely gonna outsell BP in album sells by the end of the year, and they're gonna do it digitally too with Love Scenario. Not to mention that iKon has a world tour while BP is only now going to be performing in Korea for the first time. Their Japanese tour is impressive but it's no world tour. Backup your subjective opinion with facts please.

JYP Entertainment closes with highest market cap ever for an entertainment company
    By KayRosa 1 day ago | September 23, 2018
    [IMG]

JYP Entertainment closed with the highest market capitalization ever.

On September 19th, JYP Entertainment closed the cap as an entertainment company with a total value of 1.277 trillion KRW (~1.14 Billion USD). This value has broken the record set by SM Entertainment back in 2012, which had totaled a sum of 1.262 trillion KRW (1.13 Billion USD).

Of the big 3 companies (SM, YG, JYP), JYP Entertainment had risen to the 2nd biggest agency in January, as TWICE and GOT7's comebacks and concerts garnered much success. From early 2017, JYP Entertainment's stock prices also blew up 5 times since then, a rate which continues to grow steadily.

Prospective financial success of JYP Entertainment in 2019 also appears to be favorable, as TWICE have also announced a Dome tour in Japan. In addition, Stray Kids' successful debut has been beneficial to the company, propelling more initiatives to launch a Chinese boy group Boy Story as well as an all-Japanese member group (soon to be announced).

Lee Soo Man and J.Y. Park are worth 20 billion KRW in stocks
    By jennywill 7 hours ago | Sept. 24, 2018
    [IMG]

Lee Soo Man and J.Y. Park's stock values have reached over 20 billion KRW (approximately 18,000 USD).

20 billion KRW had been the 'limit' that only YG Entertainment's Yang Hyun Suk had once broken, but this is the first time that two entertainment stockholders have gone past the cap. Lee Soo Man, who holds 19.28% of SM Entertainment's stocks, is at #1 with 21.12 billion KRW (18.9 million USD). J.Y. Park came in at second with 20.47 billion KRW (18.3 million USD).

Coming up 3rd was Yang Hyun Suk with 14.92 billion KRW (13.4 million USD). Bae Yong Joon was 4th with 4.4 billion KRW (4 million USD). FNC Entertainment's Ham Sung Ho and musical actress Ham Yeon Ji came in at a tied 5th with 2.9 billion KRW (2.6 million USD), and actress Park Soon Ae came at 7th with 1.72 billion KRW (1.5 million KRW) as the last entertainment stockholder with values over 100 billion KRW.
