    I'll leave it here...

This can be pop, K-Pop, whatever. For me there are a few but the most memorable one was definitely Linkin Park, I was devastated when Chester died because it's like my childhood has finally been left behind. I've been a fan of them for about 10 years and I wish the best for them always. What about everyone, though?

SHINee, I have been listening to them since their debut, I cant imagine life without them. I remember which songs I studied with, which songs I listened to while I cried, which songs I listened to while I was lonely and which song went off as ring tone in the middle of class to embarrass the fuck out of me.

The Murderdolls, Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers(Mom), Bowie and bad hair metal(Dad) and basically punk and some pop-punk(my first concert was NOFX). 1996 I was all about OLP and The Spice Girls(hence, Kpop), tho.

When I was younger, I would really listen to a lot pop music, Rock music, and Spanish music. I really loved listening to Gwen Stefani [also No Doubt], P!nk, Linkin Park, The Pussycat Dolls, Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Hilary Duff, Ashlee Simpson, Aly & AJ, JoJo, Black Eyed Peas, Rihanna, Sean Paul, The White Stripes, Gym Class Heroes, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Yellowcard, The Fray, Selena Quintanilla, Juanes, Sin Banderas, Enrique Iglesias, Ricky Martin, Luis Fonsi, RBD [a very popular Mexican Co-Ed Pop Group who did their famous telenovela Rebelde], Maná, Pitbull [back to the time when he rapped about butts], Don Omar, Shakira, Marc Anthony, Celia Cruz, Juan Luis Guerra, and HA-ASH.

When I was little it seemed Madonna (in her early years), Hall & Oates and Phil Collins were on the radio all the time! And I remember loving a few songs in particular; Billy Joel's Uptown Girl and We Didn't Start the Fire (still a masterpiece if you ask me), The Bangles' Walk Like an Egyptian, Madonna's Spanish Lullaby, Whitney Houston's I Wanna Dance With Somebody, Hall & Oates Maneater and Huey Lewis' Hip to be Square. I still think these songs are classic.

    Late childhood/early teens:
I really loved Paula Abdul, Ace of Base, Gin Blossoms, Toad the Wet Sprocket and Roxette. My favorite songs were Michael Jackson's Black or White and Heal The World, Ace of Base's The Sign, C&C Music Factory's Everybody Dance Now, En Vogue's Never Gonna Get It, Toad The Wet Sprocket's Walk on The Ocean and All I Want, Salt & Pepa's Whatta Man, and Paula Abdul's Opposites Attract.

Green Day, Sublime, Toots and the Maytals, The Beatles, The Specials, David Bowie. I was never seriously into "new" music until Middle School.

They were really popular in the States too when Latin Pop was getting bigger there. They were that group that would snatch up all the Latin Pop related awards because they really had really good sales. I even saw them in Madison Square Garden when I was 13 while they were doing Tour Generación 2006 [AKA Nuestro Amor Tour]

She's a Canadian EDM artist who was pretty popular back in 2009. I never listened to any english songs but my siblings were obsessed with her and her songs always used to air on Family (Canadian Disney Channel before Disney Channel was available here)

i had an obsession with this song

Still know the rap by heart :yesr:

I was obsessed with Britney Spears when I was really young. As I got older, I started listening to the Jonas Brothers and had a crush on Nick Jonas (I still was pretty young only 11 lol). And for some time I liked One direction in their prime days.
