Istg people post this every single month and none of it ever happens
Good. So, when will they get like individual Instagram accounts and Western collabs?
I hope it's true
Also JYPE better promote Yubin's album.........
Seems like this time it's very possible? Since they plan to focus on Stray Kids/ITZY a lot this year it gives more room for solos for TWICE.
They plan on pushing SKZ/ITZY to make at least 60% of the revenue coming into the company with their tours and albums. Just a guess but they will both each probably have 3 albums each + Stray Kids with more digital singles this year.
This sounds fake. Twicelights finale is in Mar, not Feb.
People went to all the effort to make this up and couldn't even be bothered to check the confirmed date for Twicelights. It's March 7th-8th.
It's quite obviously fake. Twice won't be having any solo's or sub units this year.
Things have already been moved around with that though? JYP also didn't want to debut NIZI until November but it looks like even from their Japanese promo team that they are debuting sooner than expected. I assume it wasn't that hard to move some concerts before this list was posted by Knetz.
I'm baffled as to how these "schedules" get any traction for multiple companies, 99% of them ltierally made up by fans.
Edit: Looking at the persons twitter they've already admitted they made it up
I'd love if this were true, but taking it with a grain of salt.
More often then not, these things turn out to be wrong.
It's fake. The person who made it on twitter just confirmed it.
Small concerts maybe. But these big ones should be booked way in advance.
Also, as much as I want it to be true, I highly doubt JYPE would wait until May to milk Twice with another comeback. That would be an 8 month gap from Feel Special.
ITZY and Stray Kids will see growth next year by accounting for 79% of all [JYP] consumers and will be the driving force of the 63% of album sales in 2020.
As a result, JYP is expected to reach 174.5 billion won (~$147 million USD) in performance sales and 47.9 billion won (~$40 million USD) in operating profit next year. Both will see an increase compared to this year.
Yes I'm aware of that. Doesn't mean it will happen. TWICE will release 2 album's in Korea and 2 Album's in Japan at a minimum next year. Let's say they only sell 300k each(of course they'll sell more). That's 1.2 million in album sales.
So I'm to believe that Itzy and Stray kids will sell enough album's to make TWICE 1.2 million in sales only 20% (gonna give Got7 17%) of JYPEs total album sales?
Fake News. Twicelights finale is in March.
They said recently they wouldn't do solos anytime soon, it was obviously fake...
I hate to break it to you but this is fake. Twice already confirmed in a recent interview with Billboard that their 2020 schedule is already full and will be busier than 2019.
Those are some really nice profit margins there for JYP. 30% operating profit margin.
Total sales are tiny compared to SM but JYP is a much smaller company with much less reach. SM i think is involved in a ton more shit than JYP. But JYP knows how to operate a business and keep costs down unlike SM, which has only a 10% operating profit margin with his ridiculous experiments like NCT and overspending for SuperM.
JYP is basically just limited to Stray, Got7, Twice, Itzy, and Day6 right? Do they do other things besides manage Kpop groups?
