Basically as the title says, this is a thread to rate/review the last movie/film you watched.
Star Wars The Force Awakens
seemed like rather than making a good plot/film that stood on it's own they tried too hard with the fanservice and catering for old fans, visually it was nice but the plot was kind of cliche and reminded me too much of the Star Wars 4 :/
Jupiter Ascending 4.5 out of 10 stars
Not that bad, but not so good. Some of the dialogue didn't make sense, the plot was kinda too short and some things in the movie didn't give sense. The acting was pretty bad especially Eddie Redmayne's acting who's character's personality and attitude was confusing (tbh I wasn't surprised that his acting was so bad there despite he had won an Oscar the same year because I find his acting limited) .
Funny enough I though about talking about that movie in Akp.
I watched disney's read it and weep.
3/10 it's too dramatic lmao and yeah the movie was 10 years ago soooo
cute. but the plot is too predictable but then again its meant for the younger audiences which interested in the visual department more and they delivered so eh..
Your typical western adult comedy movie but I had a good laugh
I didn't watch this in the theater or anything but I think it was Say I Love You? I watched it like a month ago. I give it a 7/10. It was a good movie, though it did move a little fast at the beginning.
The conjuring 2
I loved the first one and this one too. I love horror movies with ghots or demons and is based on a real story I had a lot of fun watching it with my mother we got a little scared in a few parts hehe
Batman vs Superman
the whole storyline was a bit meh, and Batman was a lidddle bit useless in the last battle and a lot of things were like; why? But MY GOD I love Affleck as Bruce Wayne so extra points for that
Angry Birds Movie
The little birds are cute as heck but the adult birds are men. Storyline is quite ok though.
Disney's Inside Out
The story and concept was intriguing, but it had the cliche of the underdog being the one that fixes the problem, and everything seemed to conveniently work out...
Well, my daughter and I went to see Finding Dory on the weekend and although I preferred Nemo
better, I would give it an 8/10. I liked Hank the octopus, he was cute and funny and the marine park -
that looks awesome
I saw Finding Dory too except I saw it with a group of friends that are all 18 haha. I give it 8/10 too, it's usually hard to find a sequel that's as good as the original, but this one wasn't far off from the original movie.
I watched Finding Dory with my two sisters and their friend. I would give it an 8/10. It was a cute movie . I teared up a bit in a scene or two, but we all enjoyed it. It was a good sequel.
Great acting, directing, screenplay, etc. Mark Ruffalo surprised me in this one. The story overall was sad and seeing the list of towns with pedo fathers made me sick cause like there was one that was like one town over.
Cat on a Hot Tin Roof 8.5 out of 10
Synopsis retains a good amount of originality, good character development and believable and engaging story
Great performance by Liz Taylor and Paul Newman
Story somewhat convoluted. A bit too much back story. Some themes were not fully explained and a bit of an anti-climatic ending
Zootopia: 10/10 coz I haven't watched an animated movie of such perfection for a long time
and Judy and Nick oh my heart
Breaking Dawn Part. 2
I finally got around to watching it after so many years and omg the series is even more cringeworthy than I realised, the plot was so cliche and the acting was poor along with the casting, THE CASTING WAS HORRID!!!! Only really good one was Alice and maybe Emmet, Jasper and the original normal friends. Still lowkey mad that Jacob's endgame was falling in love with his previous love interest's baby
I din't know we have this thread!! i like it !!
The purge 3 8/10
Overall it was fun to watch
